Emergency shelter for homeless adults
The program operates year-round, seven days from 6:30pm-7:00am.
It provides a safe refuge for adults who are homeless in our community. Clients are provided with beds, blankets, pillows and shower facilities. Personal hygiene products are available for those that need them.
The Alan P. Linton, Jr., Emergency Shelter is an 80 bed shelter, making this the largest year-round shelter in Frederick County.
Emergency Family Shelter Program
Emergency shelter for homeless families with children
The Emergency Family Shelter is a program for homeless families with children. The goal of this program is to provide homeless families with children shelter and supportive services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The program will provide families with case management services for employment and securing permanent housing.
This program addresses one of the largest current unmet needs in our community.
