Healthcare Financial Assistance Programs

Each year, the Coalition helps provide life-saving prescriptions to 200 individuals and dental assistance to 125-150 individuals.

Financial Assistance for Prescriptions

Prescription assistance is available through our partnerships with local pharmacies to help cover the cost of life-sustaining medication. Prescriptions will need to be filled at one of our partner pharmacists. Prescriptions not at our partner pharmacists will need to be transferred. Assistance is available to Frederick County residents.

The Coalition assists with general medications and psychiatric medications.

We do not help with controlled substances/narcotics/over-the-counter drugs/vitamins.

To apply, please come into our office between 10am-2pm (Mon-Fri). When you are there you will need to provide the following:

  • ID and/or proof of Frederick County residency 
  • An active prescription with the name of drug, dosage, quantity, and supply indicated
  • Proof of all household income
  • Must complete intake application

Financial Assistance for Emergency Dental Procedures

The Religious Coalition provides emergency dental assistance for simple dental procedures, such as tooth extraction or fillings. Assistance may also be available for comprehensive procedures such as root canals, or dentures. Please Note: At this time, assistance is only available to Frederick County residents aged 51 and older.

To apply, please come into our office between 10am-2pm (Mon-Fri). When you are there you will need to provide the following:

  • ID and/or proof of Frederick County residency
  • Proof of all household income
  • Proof of dental need
  • Must complete intake application
